ROCKTON GLASS CRAFTER

I now offer repair services. If you have an heirloom or maybe an ordinary piece with cracked glass, please contact me to see what is possible and check my prices. It may surprise you how reasonably priced a repair can be.

Welcome!

What began as a hobby many years ago has developed into something larger. When our deacon suggested some leaded glass windows for our little church in Roscoe, Illinois, it was a joy for me to create something beautiful to be a source of inspiration.

The image on the left is one of the two windows I created for the church with the help of my brother, Joe Dillett, an artist and master wood carver. Here's a link to his website where you may see first-hand, some of the beautiful things he creates.

My shop has the capacity for me to create window panels up to 6 feet by 4 feet, using either your design or mine. There's also the area of unique, three-dimensional art that make great gifts. My work is modestly priced. Let's have a conversation about creating something special for you.

I now offer individualized instruction in the art of glass crafting.  You could be enjoying the satisfaction of creating something truly unique. Contact me for details.

It's really fun when a 3-dimensional piece you make takes flight like this butterfly I made as a gift for my daughter.

Unique pieces make wonderful gifts. This 3-dimesional angel was a special gift for my sister.

This panel to the right is a good example of the use of bevels and clear glass.

A beautiful tropical bird can enhance a window. How about yours?

A logo for your favorite team can come to life as a glass panel. I made this for my daughter who is an avid Packer fan. By the way, I am too!

Watch this site for more samples of my work. Perhaps the piece I make for you could be here, too. Thanks for visiting.
